Feast of the Dead Celebration
Feast of the Beast will be transformed this year to celebrate Day of the Dead (All Souls Day) on Saturday, November 2! The night begins with a cocktail party and stories of Henniker's Dead. Communal seating in the Barn at long stretches of tables for this event. Authentic Mexican street foods. Mariachi serenading-style music to kick things off and then PEAK Entertainment will drive the music for dancing all night! The barn will be heated for this event! $150 per person. Costume prizes! Featuring Spanish and Argentinian wines which pair perfectly with tonight's menu.
Currier & Ives Dining Room Experience
Did you know that Colby Hill Inn sits on the Currier & Ives Scenic Byway?! Inspired by all things "Currier & Ives", Colby Hill Inn & The Grazing Room are delighted to offer a private Christmas holiday dining experience December 4-29. We are removing a lot of furniture from a guest room, one with a wood burning fireplace, and transforming it for a spirit of festivity for dining parties of 2-6. There will be a $300 experience charge in addition to food and beverage charges. The room must be vacated no later than 10:00 pm. Call (603) 428-3281 to RSVP.
A very special menu of Chef Barnes' favorite Christmas holiday foods. The menu is a la carte and runs daily from December 4 until December 298 (Wednesday through Sunday - private parties only on Mondays and Tuesdays).
We will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and on Mondays and Tuesdays, except for parties of 25 or more.

The Singing Canary at Colby Hill
One hundred years ago, the country went through a period of 13 "dry years". Join us tonight as we take a step back in time to explore what a Speakeasy might have looked like at Colby Hill Inn! Passwords, secret codes and slang will help you find the secret door and get you access to the bar. Prohibition era cocktails (and mocktail versions), featuring Tamworth Distillery's spirits, set the foundation for the night's festivities. Live Jazz Band. 1920s-inspired menu. Annual Lobster Bake & Blueberry Feast
Back for Year 3, join us for a traditional New Englander Lobster Bake that was described last year as "off the charts" by several tables. Choice of New England Clam Chowder, Smoky Tomato Soup of Summer Salad to start with biscuits and breads. Pot of whole lobster, steamers, clam and corn. A buffet of buttermilk fried chicken, mac & cheese, and sides to cover everyone's favorites. A feast of blueberry desserts to end the night - sourcing blueberries from Contoocook's Grounding Stone Organic Blueberry Farm. Austrian Game & Foraging Wine Dinner
We've moved up this favorite dinner in the hopes of perfect outdoor dining weather and to celebrate the beginning of Oktoberfest. A special night of dining in our "Into the Woods" private dining space which is stylized for a "woodsy" dining experience. A six-course Austrian Hunter's-inspired dinner featuring regional game and locally foraged foods, all paired with Austrian wine. The menu will be presented by Chef Barnes and a favorite Austrian Wine Importer. Live music. Communal outdoor seating at three long farm tables for 60 guests (barn will serve as a rain plan). $150 pp. (plus sales tax and gratuity).
