Of course, you may not want to leave the property at all - so, order a picnic and enjoy some solitude on a blanket, play some board games in the parlor by the fire, or ask to borrow some snowshoes in the winter.
My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding--our first night as husband and wife! It was wonderful, we stayed in Carriage Suite II (which was beyond amazing, not to mention very clean and comfortable)! Before heading out in the morning we had a scrumptious breakfast. The gentleman working there who assisted us when we arrived and waited on us for breakfast in the morning was friendly, professional, and respectful. Colby Hill Inn was very accommodating, and we're so grateful!

My family had a lovely stay at The Colby Hill Inn last week. The historic property is delightful and the grounds are gorgeous. A highlight for the kids was interacting with the resident goats. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. If I lived closer I would eat there often! Thanks for a wonderful stay Bruce and Jeff!

We had our wedding at Colby Hill Inn it was an amazing experience the Owners were very attentive and very accommodating. Their staff was wonderful and made sure we were well taken care of. Lastly, the food blew us a way we couldn't help ourselves as we had to sample everyone's food around us just to enjoy every bite. My now wife and I will be booking another room in the near future
